I know the tribunal aim to send out the decision within 10 working days but I just wondered how long other people have waited?
our hearing was adjourned for 3 months and so this has been going on for such a long time I just want it to be over now and for my dd to recieve some support.
typically how long did you have to wait for SENDIST's decision after an appeal against statement?
thanks

16 working days for us - but it was an appeal against parts of an existing statement, and the hearing took place at peak time (midsummer). I don't know many people who've appealed refusal to assess, but all of them had a decision within 10 working days.

thanks ugger. ours is also an appeal against the statement (parts 2 and 3). this has been a hugely stressful 18 months!

my refusal to assess was back within 8 days in may - the judge said at the end of my hearing that she had a cancelled hearing later in the week so think that's why it got turned around quickly - my other appeal against parts 2 3 and 4 took exactly 2 weeks to get the decision back
