We have received a final statement and we did ask about ABA on it, but it came back without mentioning these letter.
We either accept what we have been offered of have two months before we go to tribunal.
Please can you email me of list parents that went to tribunal either lost or won agains the LA.
Please can anyone explain to me in detail how the tribunal works?
- do we write to Sendit? What kind of letter does anyone have a sample?
How long does it take to get a reply and how long it took before you went to tribunal?
- what to expect on the day? What its the panel made of who was there on the tribunal side? Did LA attended? What about the current school? who needs to be with parent e.g Consultant, Private Ed ps, Sen advocate?
- do the parent need to make a speech? Do we as a parent being questioned about child's needs and progress?
- do you go to tribunal to fight for ABA? Or for more hrs as what LA offered us its not enough, not mentioned there is not ABA at all!
- what was the fear that you did not expected when got there?
- if you loose what will happens next year? Do you still negotiate to LA in the next meeting for more hrs or you get even less as you lost tribunal?
- can you go to tribunal after next review? Or it can only be once in a life time?
- what was the most sufficient/best evidence that helped you to win?
