I may have to appeal a disabled facilities grant application for my son. I can not really afford to get a solicitor but I want to as the local authority are being very difficult. I would not meet legal aid criteria myself. However as this is for a disabled facilities grant for my son (age 8) would I be able to claim any legal aid on his behalf
