SN children

Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

Anyone else had a less than enthusiastic response from Activ Camps?

Maybe it's just the one site, but I contacted Activ Camps to see if they were geared up for taking my two AS DSs and got kind of a strange response.

The email I got back asked for a whole load of details, which I admittedly took some time replying to but they really asked for EVERY detail about each child and I have a busy life Confused. I eventually wrote about each in detail, which took me about 2 hours. Since then, haven't heard from them AT ALL despite a follow up email to see what was going on.

They're high functioning, and have previously gone to both Super Camps (which they didn't like) and Camp Beaumont (which is miles away but which they liked) but since Activ Camps was easier to get to we thought maybe we could give it a go. They eventually went back to CB but I got the impression that maybe Activ Camps wasn't really SN friendly - anyone else? Or is this a blip in their usually wonderful SN policy?
