epilepsy. am i in the right section?

hi. well title says it all really. am a regular and my dd was diagnosed with it last week. feel really shocked and have so many questions. dont know where to start. she seems so young. 16 months. anyone in the same boat? im sorry if i posted in the wrong section. thanks.

no your in the right place. dd has it she has cp and first started when she was about 6 she is 11 now

E is quite variable - have you had any indication of what sort of Epilepsy they think your child has? Or are they still in the 1,001 EEGs stage?

My DS was diagnosed with epilepsy at about 10days old, and then with a v rare epilpesy syndrome at 8 months. Feel free to ask any questions, i think we have tried all available meds and have had all tests from eegs, mri, cts, ultrasounds, metabolic, chromozone. muscle biopsies, genetic etc, so we have quite alot of knowledge, although every childs epilepsy is so different, even if they have the same kind.
