Private OT?

Does anyone have any clue how much a private OT would charge?
We are in England, on the south coast.
DS has had an assessment by OT, and told he needs a sensory diet, and some sessions with the OT, but there is no funding to do this.

Has anyone had experience of private OT, know approx costs, or could recommend someone?

thanks

thanks, not as bad as i thought. They suggested 1 session every 3 months, so probably affordable.

I pay £60 for the hour we get every couple of months. The initial assessment was £450 for DS1 (took a couple of sessions and about 5 hours) Ds 2 much more straightforward and only £100. I'd give you her name but were in northwest! Try dyspraxia foundation website for Ny recommendations.

The college of occupational therapists has a website where you can search for an OT in your area.
