What else could be causing ds constant wetting?

DS is 5.7 and has never been what I would consider as toilet trained, he goes through staged where he will be fine for a few days, then he starts having accidents agin, for the last 6 weeks he is having at least 6 accidents a day.

He is currently being assessed for Aspergers, could aspergers simply be the reason? He has had urine and kidney checks, they all came back negative, I am waiting for an appointment for an eeg scan, to test for petit mal, but if that comes back negative too, where will I go from there?

I feel like I am stuck between a rock and a hard place with regard to dicipline, at the moment I try to ignore it as best I can in case it is beyong his control, but at the same time I think maybe he can help it and I am letting him get away with it.

Does he have any fears about using the toilet Waterfalls? My DS is 7 and has AS; he has a phobia about actually going into the toilet and insists on my accompanying him most of the time. This gets worse the more anxious he is. Does your DS have anxieties like this?

No, no fears at all, he will even happily use public toilets and other peoples toilets etc.
I know he has good bladder control too, because he can hold on for a long time when we are somewhere inconvienient, so I dont think its laziness and he does'nt like being wet and will change straight away.
