PE kit in SS

Is this a stupid question....but do they have any sort of PE kit in special schools??

My DD starts in September. We have just been given an order form for jumpers/polo shirts for the school uniform but it makes no mention of anything else - shorts/tshirts etc for sports. I know they won't be doing PE in the traditional way but they do have a sports hall type thing and also a rebound room - do they just do it in their normal clothes??

I know I can ask the school but they won't be there now and I am intrigued!!

It depends on the school.

My dd, over the course of a week, does:

Trampolining
Various OT activities
Dance group
Yoga

Plus normal playtimes etc.

She doesn't have a PE kit, but does have a pair of leggings/jogging bottoms and a t shirt in her bag at all times. She changes for some of the activity - trampolining and yoga mostly - but not for others - dance group and OT are 'just' part of her curriculum, so she does those in her uniform.

School asks if plimsolls are needed (she hasn't had any for 2 years now), and I send wellies if it is wet.

ds2 had just t-shirt and shorts or jogging bottoms with slip on plimsolls all the way through from sn nursery to ss 6th form. At secondary school they had to be navy shorts/jogger and white t-shirt but at primary the colour didn't matter. Just ring the school and check or see if there is something mentioned on the school website
