she is back in the office today - secretary emailed me last week and asked for my OT and SALT reports which I duly sent to them.

email this morning stating thank you for the reports and the referral is now ready for triage?

she will then contact me again once this has been done

what does the triage bit mean? do you think that there is a chance that she may say no to seeing my daughter? I don't think that will happen as the OT and SALT reports do indicate some difficulties and indicators that there may be other things going on as well. I guess I just assumed she would be seen as its a private referral but then am also happy if they chose not to see her if they don't think she would need to be seen.

I have margo sharp coming as well in a few weeks time to see her at school

The triage process is actually rather responsible. It would be unethical to take a couple of weeks' income off a parent just to tell them that little johnny is an overwhelmingly typical child.

It just means your reports are in a queue to be read I think.

yes, probably means as others have said.

I don't know - we didn't get past the 'thanks, we'll consider you' stage - not sure if that was because they thought dd2's sissues weren't enough, or because secretary last year was particularly inefficient.

Secretary is now a new one and I have to say so far been pretty good at keeping me in the loop. She emailed me at 7.20am this morning! I kinda hope they say - no don't bring her, she is fine and that's the end of that but it's hard to say at the moment. Feels weirdish knowing that they will be discussing her today at some point.
