Anyone know what she will be asking? What do I need to tell her? She is assessing in school the week after. It's not cheap and I want to make the most if it.

Help please?

trying to rack my brains - with my son she gave me loads of test/forms to complete then asked the usual questions about the childs background/learning. I didn't say an awful lot to her and mine was a bit stand offish with me but that was because she wanted to make her own mind up about my son. once she had assessed him, gone to school etc she was much more warm and open! I wouldn't worry too much, they do this day in day out and they will make sure they get all the information that they need from you

We saw ours on our own (without dd) first and I ran through our concerns and her history. Then she observed dd in nursery/school. Then dd did some cognitive tests with her (my husband was there also for that part).

Good luck with it.

With ds, I met her first on my own, she asked for ds's history from birth. She also asked for a list of every professional involved with ds. She then observed ds at preschool, but was unable to do any assessments (this wasn't a private ep)

Good luck!
