how do they affect each other please

Carers Allowance is taken into account as income-whether it affects how much wftc you receive will depend on your total income. (ie it may push you up to another level at which your wftc is reduced). There used to be a "calculator" on the tax credit website where you could put your income in and see what you should be entitled to in various scenarios-not sure if it is still there?
