My DS has some social/communication difficulties and his school has asked my consent for him to receive 1:1 sessions with a support worker using the Thrive Approach. I have googled it and appears to be based on neuroscience and used primarily in Devon. Does anyone have any knowledge/experience of it and would you recommend?

Thrive is for all children (not only special needs) - it helps their emotional and social development. It's based on the latest research and it's happening in schools and other child-related settings all over the UK. Very good feedback from parents and teachers.
