Asking for a friend (hopefully mine are staying where they are for a good while, although dd2's school is proving to be a bit of a chocolate teapot)
Does anyone know what schools are like in the above area - reasonable transport and even residential/boarding considered - for an academically ok child with Aspergers, and severe challenging behaviour? Has been ina. SN school before, but was not academically stretching. Has now tried mainstream (independent, so small class sizes) but this is not working out. Although possibly not entirely down to the needs not being able to be met - reluctance to adjust could be a factor.
Anyway, I said I'd ask, as have no knowlEdge of this sector at all.
TIA
