As the title says really, I sent back proposed statement last thurs (22nd), next day delivery, and know that it was received. Does anyone know how long should the response take?

With me they got back to me to say that they would look it over and would need to speak to the EP who wrote the provision I was questioning. It took around 2 weeks for her to get back to me, but was delayed as the EP was on holiday.

They're supposed to complete the statement within 8 weeks of when they sent you the proposed statement. They can extend that time in some circumstances, including if you sent your response outside the initial 15 day period.

We heard back from the LA refusing to include our requested changes within about 10 days.
They then asked us to contact them if we didn't agree with the draft (which obviously we didn't as they hadn't included our changes) within 10 days or otherwise they would finalise. My solicitor advised us to let them finalise, so then we could appeal via SENDIST, as it was the only was for the LA to take us seriously.
