Hi. I'm a final year student at Huddersfield University, doing a dissertation on music and social inclusion. I'm particularly interested in how music can help special needs children. I'd really appreciate comments from anyone who has experience of this, that I can include in my dissertation.
What's your experience? Does music work? Is it better than other activities? Is it properly funded? Can you get the training you need? Any facts / comments / stories would be very helpful.
