TBH dd has always been a good sleeper (well from about 2yrs) but since going on medication for her Adhd has been finding it so hard to drop off at night.
We were offered melatonin but with the medication she is on already didn't want to use one to counteract affects of other.
Heard about night time milk through a friend. Basically it is taken from cows when they produce melatonin naturally.
Well it has worked. She has been having a gloass every night this week (ok so we are adding strawberry milkshake flavour to it) and has been falling to sleep much better.
Thought I should share incase it works for someone else. Oh and I have tried it and I had great nights sleep! (substituted it one night for the wine )

where do you get this from?

melatonin shouldn't interact with meds, as its a naturally occuring hormone, it would only counteract the stimulatory affect at night as it doens't stay in the system.

Emma ~ I know but I just don't want to give it to her.
The only place I know that does it is Tesco.

I think I'll get some for DD, just to help her settle and stop calling me back for stupid things! Ocado don't have it so I'll have to use my own 2 legs

Davros ~ lol. Haven't "seen or spoken" to you in ages. How are you?

I'm OK BH. Summer hol was pretty good . DD has started turning into a little Madam though and is heading for a star chart! She starts nursery properly on Sept 7th so I hope that will help! I was going to post on your thread about your lovely day out with your DD, sounds wonderful.
Psssst, how is the conservatory? Must be all finished?

So pleased your holidays have been good. Ours have been fine up until now when dd is having a strange week. Behaviourally she is fine but I am concerned about her.
Well girl's are generally little madams Davros (I was one myself but I am sure nursery will really help.
Conservatory is done along with patio dh built. Funny thing is we hardly use it, except to put washing in lol
Yes we had great day in Wimbledon at build a bear. I would recommend it for any little girl, although very pricey.
