I'd just like to start a positive thread of things we love about our dcs and dscs with ld and/ or sen. We spend a lot of time posting about things were worried about or find difficult so I thought It would be good to think about all the awesome things about them :)

Dsd was amazing the other day we had her statement review and dp had lost the letter saying where it was, she heard us talking about It the morning before and came home and told us where and when it was having asked at school without us even telling her to - that's a big step for her :D

general things:

I love how affectionate she is all the time, especially good for a step mum as she makes things easy for me!
I love how proud of herself she gets when told she's done something well :)
I'm amazed at how brave she is, she's been through a lot and taken it so well!

My DS (10, AS and dyspraxia) is kind, thoughtful and bakes a great sponge cake Smile.

My ds has a great sense of silly humour, is very determined, is very good at drawing and just has the most beautiful smile (as demonstrated)
