My son is 3 and 5 months. We have a diagnosis of ASD and he starts special nursery in Sept. For the last couple of weeks his behaviour is slipping. When we r at home only. He climbs everywhere jumps on sofa. Squeals. Runs and throws himself on the floor. Hits me pushes me and his younger brother. Ignoring doesn't work neither does shouting. He asked for Cbeebies on TV then when that was put on he wants toy story. Help please my patience is slipping.

I think very much that its boredom and her changed routine plus she had chickenpox before the holidays so she's had even longer off.i just try to rotate toys and get out each day but it's still been tricky

Sorry I should have put more detail in my original post but was just keen to get something out there for advice. Yes he has an OT and we do lots of sensory play with him including the hotdog game. And bear mum hugs. We need a trampoline but OH hates them so that's a battle I'm fighting. I should have been more organised with unusual activities planned but didn't think of it. This wee man is one of 4 DC's so it's just exhausting when he is like this.

It doesn't have to be a big trampoline, we have a low level gym trampoline, came frm Argos for very little money. My dd is now 13, but we still have it located in the lounge along with pogo stick and sensory peanut ball.
