My ds is 4 and rapidly growing out of his pushchair, and not properly mobile. We need it to be parent facing and have storage underneath big enough to carry a suction pump and a bag of medical equipment. Any ideas anyone?

this is suitable to 5 years (20kg) and can be forward or parent facing. It's quite pricey though and don't know whether you'd find the storage area suitable for what you need?

There are pushchairs specifically designed for children with special needs, they are very expensive but you can get help from charities, try googling for pushchairs and have a look at New Life for funding.

Good luck Smile

it sounds like you need a referral to wheelchair services, this is something they should be providing for you. Ask your physio/OT to refer, your paed can refer too but it's been easier for us going through the physio Smile

this is the kind of chair that gets offered where I am, although everywhere is different Smile

Thanks for your replies, folks. I have heard of people being offered things not best suited to their needs, so wanted to have some useful info before we speak to the OT about it.

We have a stingray buggy by r82. It's brilliant. We hang a suction off the back using " happy mummy hooks" that were a fiver from amazon. The stingray can face both ways and is very smooth for the little one. It's pricey though. Our WCS provided us with a voucher towards it as the pushchair they gave us, a jazz EasyS, was awful for DD. It's worth trying a few. Good luck.
