Son 17 ASD hitting me

I've a 17 year old Autistic son who had now hit me on 3 occasions
What can I do ?
Police are powerless cos of age & I really don't want that route

Any parent had children who have gone to Farleigh autistic college Frome. I have AHF 17 daughter with anxiety and pervasive refusal syndrome. Who may benefit from this college. Thanks
