Socci - just about to start with DS2 and intend to use similar method to you, but book I've got says take child to toilet every 90 mins! If they do anything, you stick to the 90 min schedule; if they don't, you make the next interval 60 mins and so on. What do you (or anyone else) think? It's from an ABA book 'A Work In Progress'. 90 mins seems like a long time to me.

Need to start - had our third (and worst) incidence of poo smearing tonight. I feel that there may be worse to come...

been slowly doing this with dd1 ( 4yo) I jsut keep putting her on the toilet every hour or so - especially after she has had a drink. She is not asking to go to the toilet so I am really do toilet timing and hope to go from there.

Do it especially first thing in the morning, after breakfast before we go out, before and after nap times esp.

We are getting some success but she is in pull ups not pants - no success with the put them in pants and they will hate being wet etc - not dd1 - couldn't care less.
