Informing dla of changes in condition

Just wandering can anyone advise please. Ds has epilepsy and lots of other things (abnormal MRI, spd and awaiting assessment for asd) and ongoing developmental delays.

His seizures have now been under control with meds for several months which they weren't when we were awarded. His other difficulties have got worse since.

We would be completing dla renewal in September, but do I need to write to them now to inform them about the seizures?

Thanks for reply actually thinking now maybe renewal is maybe not until 2015. I think I will write I have all the medical reports to show changes I don't really know what the rules are

If the overall level of his needs hasn't changed then I wouldn't have thought it was necessary to write.
DLA is awarded on the basis of need rather than diagnosis.

Ok thanks both of you I may leave it then definitely no reduction in needs in fact his needs have increased.
