Hello

I applied for respite care using direct payments last year and only getting round to sorting it only now. The request was rejected on the basis that I already have a CAF.. I cant find their original letter and the early years' setting where my 4.5yr old goes manages the CAF..

Is calling the council the first step?

Thanks
SA

yes they should hopefully have a copy of the letter which they could send to you

Interesting! We recently had our application for respite rejected because we didn't have a caf! I assume it is all some sort of delaying tactics at play.

No words of wisdom I'm afraid but just to say we are in a similar boat x
