Sorry I added my message on the medical notes post by mistake. Duh!

At a meeting tonight we were told that our sons comprehension of instructions is at the two word information carrying level. I forgot to ask what age this would represent. Does anyone know?

Thank you

Is that the same as "able to follow 2 information carrying word instructions"? That's what ds1 had on his assessment sheet and we were told that he was at the level of a 3-3.5yr old.

It's things like put the hat on the table. I think sit on the chair would be an example as well. So in the first case he's understanding hat and table (or is that 3 as he understands put as well). We've never got that far so I'm not sure

Thanks.

Its "Give dolly a biscuit" "Brush teddy's hair" type of stuff. Last time he was assesed we were told his comprehension was around 2.5 and as far as I can remember that was on similar instructions. 3 sounds much better.
