Hi everyone, havent been on here for a while, dont have much time these days! ds1 had his eeg and he was ok for the first half but then he went mad and screamed and kicked, but they said they should have enough of a reading, well i finally had the results, and all it said was generalised spikes and waves but could not see the background? dont really know what that means?
nevermind.

I don't have any experience of EEGs but just wanted to say "Welcome back".

Thanks, its been so hectic since DD was born, i dont know how other mums cope with 3 under 4 s but its bloody hard work. DD1 is starting full time nursery in september so that will make things a bit easier!

Often the way with EEGs, ours was pretty much the same, ho hum. Welcome back though, you've got your hands full!

Well I had 3 5 and under. And found I was a nutter (ds1 is now 7, ds2 4 and ds3 19 months), and still am! 3 is hard, including SN in the mix makes it harder, but I keep telling myself byt his time next year ds3 will be a whole lot easier, ds2 will have done a yuear of school, so ds1 will be the same but the other 2 will be easier!

I sometimes wonder whether we should get ds1 checked with an eeg, but I know the results would be the same as yours- kicking and screaming, so I guess there;s no point.

Are you having a meeting with anyone to discuss the results and what happens next?

Welcome back as well!

I rang the GP and asked him he said it sounded normal. But it was a bit of a waste of time cus they couldnt see background and i think thats the important bit. nevermind, DS1 hasnt had anymore fits , touch wood.
