School Action Plus & IEPs (Secondary School)

Hi, I wondered if anyone can share their experience if they have encountered the same problem. My 13 year old son started secondary in 2012 having a fully revised IEP from primary school, he received significant extra support in primary. Since starting secondary his IEP hasn't been reviewed and I have never spoken to the SENCO. I approached the school last year about extra provision with School Action Plus and was told that it was all done in-class and extra provision is provided. I receive six weekly assessment progress information but haven't received a report. The last set of assessments show he is falling behind significantly and he has now been dropped to the bottom sets (I haven't been officially informed), he is struggling and understandably becoming despondent about school. I have written a letter to the SENCO in December and haven't received a response. I have now contacted Parent Partnership to get them involved. Can anyone share any similar experiences? Would be grateful for any input.

I am currently in process off writing to the school governors as am highly aggravated with the lack of support. I read the school Sen code of practice and highlighted 60pc of it that they don't do. Am on phone so hard to type happy for you to message me and I can let u know all I have found out which may help; x
