Anyone waiting on DLA renewal decision?

Does anyone know what waiting times are like at the moment? We sent dd's off 10 days ago and haven't even had the aknowledgement letter yet. Hoping to get a decision before it runs out at the end of March.

I got mine back in about 4 weeks (submitted September) and had it reconsidered which took another 9 weeks. I think a lot of it is down to how much evidence you send with it, I sent all his medical evidence and school reports and hence it came back in 4 weeks as they did not have to write to anyone. With the reconsideration the reason it took longer was because they needed a medical services opinion from their internal advisers

You could call them if you are really keen to know, I did , no letters received when called but they told me everything I needed to know over the phone. Some will say they can't, just call back and speak to another person.
