My Ds 9 has been diagnosed with a language process disorder by his doctor after a series of development test. We don't live in the Uk but he is at an english speaking skills. My understanding is that he has trouble remembering words, lacks a rick vocabulary, needs extra time to think. Em know he is bright ( his iq test showed this).
We are waiting for further investing and assessment.
In the mean time can you point me in the direction of some good websites please? When I googles language processing disc order not much of use other than definitions and the need for a speech and language practitioner came up.
