Is it possible to transfer carers allowance, claimed for caring for a child, from a parent to another family member, who lives outside the family home?
Child already has the qualifying benefits for an application of carers but I'm unsure if it can be claimed by a person not living in the home. The carers websites are clear that this is ok if a person is caring for another adult, but is unclear on when it is a child.
