very sore knees

dd has cp so although she is 11 she gets about on her knees(sort of a w bunny hop)
of late her knees have been getting very sore(not such a problem in winter when she is in jeans) so we put knee pads on her.
can anyone reccomend any good ones as I need to buy some knew ones
