Can a school request that a parent collects their child from school when there are known learning difficulties?
Friends ds is only in yr R, she managed to get him into mainstream when there was a lot of talk at admission time of putting him in a special school.
His mum has learning difficulties too.
Recently the little boy has started hitting out at his teacher and the schools response has been to call my friend and demand she takes him home. As she works, this is causing problems with her employer.
What should she be requesting from the school and what should they be doing rather than requesting he be removed each time?
