My DS is at a private school. This year, they are not meeting his needs. One of the reasons I am hearing is his teachers inability to accommodate DS's needs and give sufficient time to the rest of the class.
I have suggested they consider having a TA/LSA in class to help support both DS and his teachers.
Is is possible to apply for a statement and get this support funded? Or is this not available to us because we have chosen to go down the private route?
Has anyone managed to get any funding for their SEN DC at a private school?
