Over the last few months we have been faced with school refusal from Ds , the first few times it happened Ds was marked late on school records however senco then suggested that Ds should come in later and this would not be marked as a late. Now they suggest that Ds comes in earlier and it seems to be working. My question is should I be asking for some kind of formal record of this as as far as I am aware the only record is the first few lates. Is it ok to request this is all put in writing to me and placed on his school file. I am thinking in terms of SA application in the coming months. Thanks

Yes the email will do. Saying 'since he started coming in early on x day it had been more successful then when he came in late y days and was marked late z times. Or something like that pointing out the details so you have the paper trail

Thanks again. I will send end the email tonight.
2boys did you use a specialist ASD salt? I wasn't impressed with the nhs salt, she was ok, I want to find one specific to my boys difficulties he has a dx of hfa. He has very literal use of language and social understanding.
