Well last Friday we had a meeting with HV, SENCO HV and DD,s key worker at nursery.
They feel that she is so much better since increasing her hours and asked me to consider full time.
I said i would think about it over the weekend.
DH has been saying for weeks to do it as he thinks she is better and me and DS are more chilled out as DD is a little madam and very nasty to DS and he gets upset, (she,s 2 he,s 9 btw but she can be a nasty little thing)
My mum came back from her holidays at the weekend and said "Wow, what a difference what have you been doing with her, she,s like a different child"
So that was it, after consulting with DH and my mum who all assured me that i wasnt a bad mum for "dumping" my baby at the nursery i phoned the manager and she said she was glad that they were hoping we would say yes as they can do a more intensive IDP for her.
She loves it!!!
Every morning she is saying "nursery mummy, come on" and she walks in by herself, this makes me teary as she has CP and isnt able to walk far so this is really good for her.
I was spying on her the other day when i went to pick her up and she was playing very happily, she wont play with other kids or tolerate them but im not surprised at that as i think she is ASD anyway but on the whole its a really good outcome.
Just dont know what to do with my days now!!!
If i can get DS back into school then ill be laughing!!!
Things are starting to look up after a horrible horrible year.
