DS4 has just received DLA, he has langauge disorder including social communicatin problems.
DS3 also gets dla and the reason for getting it is constant supervison with or without short breaks. I thought ds4 would qualify for the same reasons, however the letter says "you need attention with bodily functions at short intervals". He is toilet trained so I don't see that this is right.

Do you think I should query it or accept the claim, I think we should get middle rate but not for this reason?

Thanks Socci, I am wondering that. He is dry and toilet trianed but tends to mouth objects and his fingers a lot. He finger feeds and is quite fussy about food presentation, I wonder if it refers to that?

did you ask for a copy of the decision makers reasons, with copies of all supporting evidence being furnished to you? You are entitled to receive all the info they used to make their decision and then you have something to appeal, if you dont agree.

Remember DLA is almost like a game, and you have to understand the rules.
