Hi,
Is there anyone out there who has a child with both dyspraxia and epilepsy?
We are really struggling (our son who is 11 has both conditions) to find a suitable treatment for his epilepsy as all the medication they have tried him on adversely affected his dyspraxia.
Any advice/help/guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks,
Maja Jefferies

Hello Maja

What medication have you been precribed and who do you see?

Sorry to hear about the issues you are having. I have read that AEDs are hard to figure out.

Thanks
SA

He has tried Epilim and Lamotrigine, neither worked on low dosage, both gave him horrendous side effects on the dose he needs to take in order to stop the seizures.

We have seen Mr. Robinson at GOSH twice in four years. Once for dyspraxia (he diagnosed it) and once to follow it up.

Many thanks for responding, we just don't know where to turn for help!
