I have just phoned for me and DH to go on a HELP! course in a couple of months.

I dont really know what to expect and wondered if any parents have been on one and what happens.

TIA

Hi Jenk, is it an ASD help awareness 1 day course? If it is, I went to one recently in Eastleigh, Hants, and it was really interesting. There was lots of advice, samples of aids and various equipment that you could try out. IE tape recorder keyring so that if your child asks repetitive question, you can record your answer which they can then play back themselves when they need re-assurance. Hth. Plus they lay on a lovely buffet dinner. .

Thanks

Yes it was the one day course that I went to. It is well worthwhile, I would reccommend it.
