I have a thread in primary education called confused - suspended/exclusion. I would love the input of the lovely experienced mums on this board.

Thanks

thank you, doc appointment booked for next monday, I was going to go alone I think ds would feel uncomfortable sitting there being talked about.

I will do lots of reading in the meantime.

My daughter was diagnosed at 13 years!!! Having her diagnosis has helped us as a family understand and learn about what difficulties my dd has and more importantly why!!! Plus it's helped dd as she now no longer feels like the only one. She has other teen friends with ASC/ADHD etc through us joining local support groups etc.

I saw our GP on our own when dd was 11. I gave her a list of all DD's difficulties and she confirmed we were right to be concerned and referred to camhs. We knew nothing about Aspergers so it wasn't even on our radar!
