Dd1 is four soon ( i know where did those years go) and I have planned for her to have a birthdya party. Have a mix of sn and nt children.... some from sn kindy and some from kindy and some friends.

Am having it at a park - planned a couple of games and then let them have free play at the park.

Have a craft activity for them to do when they arrive - decorate a door knob hanger iykwim - have their name written on it eg. Dd1's room and then they can draw/colour etc.

Dd1's has butterflies as a kind of theme: so have printed out pics of butterflies that I will laminate and hide - they have to find them - get stickers for finding them

basically - craft, play, food, birthday cake and home.

in party bag - little notebook, coloured pencils, stickers, whistley thing, finger monsters for boys, bangles for girls, small pkt of jelly beans, balloon as well as balloon on a stick attached to party bag.

Sound okay?!?!?

had thought about face painting but know most of the children with sn would not want it or would not be able to sit still long enough to have it done (dd1) cause it would look good.
