HELP me stop squealing.

Please help. My 3 yr old is awaiting his Autism diagnosis but a blind man on a galloping horse could see he has it so we are getting all the OT and SALT we can for him now.
In the last couple of weeks we have noticed he is squealing a lot! It's a high pitched squeal. He has very minimal speech but the squealing doesn't seem to be related to anything.
Please all opinions welcome as it's driving me to distraction!!!

Ds still does this an he's nine.
One of these days I'm sure all the glass in our house will shatter as it's so high pitchedWink.
However ds really loves a reaction so I have to just ignore or he would do it all the more ( little devil )

My ds also does this - it's only every so often but it's extremely high pitched and not good for mine and dad's sensitive hearing

My DS ( nearly 7) used to do it all the time when his was younger, the cats hated it!! Not so much now and when it happens I tend to ignore it or suggest we sing to some music instead.

I'm glad to hear it's not something only my wee man does. I'm going to try to ignore it and pray none of his siblings (2 brothers 1 sister) punches him. They hate the squealing.

My 6yr old DD does it too

She's HF, but uses squealing and screeching as a release, especially in the car or as she runs home after a hard day in school.

I ignore it, but occasionally she'll say 'I don't know why I did that' so accept it as an involuntary action.

She squealed lots as a younger child
