We are called "Special Needs Parents Support Tring"
We are now on twitter:

SNPST
@ParentSnpst

and closed for members only Facebook page.

I would be most grateful if you could recruit someone, you know we could support.

We would really like new members from the Tring and

surrounding villages to join. I find we are isolated from the rest of the

county and would like new friends closer by.

Thank-you for advertising us.

Give someone the gift of support this Christmas.

We are a group of parents of children with Special Needs such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Auditory Processing Disorder etc. Our group covers Tring (in Hertfordshire) and neighbouring areas.

We meet approximately monthly in Term Time for either coffee mornings or afternoons.

Everyone can access our extensive library of Books, CD Roms, Videos, DVDs etc for a small hiring fee per item of 50p to £1.00 for the month. By appointment only currently.

We also have occasional speakers (e.g. the Extended Schools Co-ordinator, an Occupational Therapist and the Parent Partnership Officer covering Tring) and we hold occasional fund-raising events.

Library

Our lending library of Information Books and Videos, Educational CD ROMs and Games is funded by Herts County Council, Dacorum Borough Council, Tring Town Council and Community Champions.

It has items in many categories, including ADHD, Auditory Processing Disorder, Autistic Spectrum, Brain Gym, Daily Skills such as typing and learning the time, Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Literacy, Motor and Sensory Skills, Numeracy, Social Skills, Speech and Language Skills and more besides
