DS has HFA/AS. He's 9.

Up until now we haven't applied for DLA, just assumed he wouldn't get it.

I'm starting to wonder if we should? What are your thoughts?

I know we'd not get the mobility portion but as he gets older the difference between him and his peers is becoming more and more obvious.

I know from reading on here that the form is a bugger.

My ds has HFA and was awarded MRC for 2 years. I am not sure if I should submit a claim for LRM now he is 5. He is the only child I know that can not walk from A to B and has to be carried or pulled along on a scooter. I found the form ok to fill in.
