Susan Boyle - on ITV now, on ITV+1 at 10pm. I wonder if she'll touch on life as an adult with ASD. Might be quite interesting.

Well, I started watching a little way in but who is the marvellous bloke always with her, saying she knows when she can manage etc.

If my son had someone like him around, he'd be sorted!

It was good, she said a couple of things about knowing she was different but not masses.

Still it was good to see her overcoming massive anxiety and moving on. Smile

I watched a documentary a few years about her and it was clear then that she had aspergers. there was a guy with her then and he talked about how he helped her and how at times she could come across as being 'difficult' and his job was to make sure she was okay so wonder if its the same guy. he would have been with her now for a long time. used to make me smile about how she had her 'rich' home but would spend a lot of time as her old family home probably cos it was routine and made her feel safe there. she really is an amazing woman when you think about all that she has achieved

The man was her producer. He was brilliant :)

Bless her, I thought he was great too. I just hope if the fame dies down in the future, she continues to get the same type of support. I get the impression she has some good friends and family around her too.
