Hypermobility car seat advice

I have a child with additional needs who is hyper mobile and however tightly we do up the straps on the car seat she manages to get out of them even if it involves hurting herself. Any advice please?

DS2's needed a chest clip on his car seat harness since he was about 3 or 4 (he's 7.5, now). Like your child, he just slithers free.

We recently had to move him out of a booster with a crelling harness, as that didn't contain him at all, even with the chest clip. We ended up forking out for a Britax Traveller plus. Fingers crossed, he's not escaped from that, yet.
