Don't know if this has been posted before. These are the latest figures I can find published as an annual report. Interesting reading. Also includes the number of appeals lodged against each LA.

They stopped publishing them because the info was too useful to parents cases.

But some committed people have been asking month by month under FOI iirc.

There are some LAs that, according to these statistics, should habg their heads in shame.

If I were to complain to the Financial Services Ombudsman about any financial organistaion that organistaion would automatically have to pay the FSO (I think it's) £50.

So the financial organistaions have an incentive to provide good customer service and to negoiate with complainants in an attempt to avoid the FSO.

It's about time that the same thing happend with SEND. The LAs should be stung £1000 for every appeal lodged. That would save a lot of time, effort and all this nonsense of refusing to assess and then agreeing to assess once an appeal is lodged.
