Are there any Mums out there familiar with special needs schools in london. My son is in main stream school, just statemented and I am at the stage of naming the school I would like him to go to. I do not know whether to keep him in his current main steam school (250 odd kids) smallish catholic school. Or whether to move him to a small special school (25 kids). He has communication difficulties, ADHD, ODD, sensory processing problems and the numerous other issues that co exist with these conditions. If there are any mums out there that would be willing to offer their opinions or share their experiences of changing from main steam to special school (or visa versa) I'd be most grateful. I am actually in a state over it all and feel that im going to regret whichever Decision I make..... Also does anyone know if it is possible to get your child back into their main stream school if you move them to special school and they are unhappy there.
