I'm sorry for all my posts recently but I'm starting to lose the will to live. Ds refuses sch so we are on late starts it's still hard getting him in but 4 days out of 5 he goes albeit reluctantly.
I'm here again late for work and at my wits end he is having a major tantrum and has made it quite clear since 7am that there is no way he is facing school today. Apart from literally dragging him to the car what on earth can I do. Is it me am I being weak? I'm being firm I'm making it clear he has to go to school . I'm trying out rewards to going to school , not working. He is screaming blue murder that he hates school he kicks me when I go near him he is begging me not to send him there. Now I can pick him up just about albeit a struggle and take him to the car. Or I can continue talking to him calmly and waiting for him to come round.

I asked them if Ds could be seen by ed psych , senco said she has 6 children that can be seen by ed psych per year and she will try her best. She said its A crazy system.
I'm hoping autism specialist can help on tues when she sees him in school otherwise if she says same as them we are ffffff'd (excuse language)
Class teacher is quite annoying in the way she tells me Ds is fine and doesn't seem to be struggling . She said even if they have a dx, if it doesn't effect them then they can't help! Yes I think it Would be nice to have a dx that carries no symptoms or difficulties.

Great they are coming Tues - that is a RESULT Thanks

ASD kids have poor self awareness so the number ratings are not going to be hugely informative 'after the fact'. Writing is troublesome for ASD also either from an understanding/organizing thoughts/planning POV or from a fine motor skills POV.

With Ed Psyche dd2 rated school 8/10 but nonetheless has odd days of huge anxiety when her confidence nose-dives.

I hope AO are helpful on Tues.

Thanks well done and try & relax for thee weekend
