I bet it won't be long before the powers-that-be deny that this is the case. If they acknowledged that 1 in 100 children may be autistic they would have to get off their backsides and actually do something for these children.

it's being suggested that they have to totally rethink the budget involved to properly care/educate for autism..

perhaps it would also mean a lot more education and reorganisation throughout
