Just received EP report for DS. Very wooly and doesn't say an awful lot, not surprised, as she was pretty rubbish when we had our meeting with her. Was quite surprised when we questioned her, she seemed to be used to bamboozling people by telling them how wonderful she is, anyhow....

DS was last seen by previous school EP (DS will be 7 in march, ASD and in an assessment unit) in March 2012, we had a meeting with him in May 2012 and we have his written report dated June 2012.

New EP has referred to the last report in her report ,which I received today, saying DS was assessed in the summer term of 2012. To me, this is wrong, the date he was assessed was March but the report was written in June.
She also says his teacher reports he is working at P levels 5 and 6.
I have an email reply from his class teacher saying he is P6/7 for reading and P7 for writing.

I want to contact her or someone to point out these inaccurracies which I feel show, 1) he hasn't been seen by an EP in school for 19 months and
2) the levels she has recorded are lower, which we all know isn't good if the powers that be just read reports and make judgements, and DS is due for annual review and will be in a new setting in September based on the judgements of the assessment centre.

WWYD?
