Hi,

My DD has been recommended this for extreme behaviour, mood swings, violence, bad language, bullying and aggression towards younger sibling, persistent low mood (over a year). We are living on tenterhooks, walking on eggshells the whole time. She has had boundaries and has always been a bit quirky but only in the past couple of years has she become so sad and angry. It's taken that long to get various assessments and not yet diagnosed with a specific need or needs, though we have now spoken to nigh on a dozen HCPs.

Has anyone else had experience of this?

TIA Hmm

Hi, thanks for replying.

ASD & physical causes ruled out. She's 8.5 yo. One psych said attachment disorder but that was opinion rather than a formal dx. It's fearsomely expensive and NHS-funded so I assume they think it's worthwhile Hmm
